Albury Wodonga 104 def Penrith 63 — Watch the Replay
Caitie Jones erupted for a spectacular 46 points as Albury Wodonga demolished Penrith 104-63 at Lauren Jackson Sports Centre. Jones was absolutely on fire, shooting a remarkable 15-from-24 from the field, including 9-from-15 from beyond the arc and 7-from-9 from the free throw line.
The Bandits controlled the contest from start to finish, leading for over 38 minutes of game time. Riley Lupfer added 17 points and seven rebounds, while Brynn Masikewich contributed 13 points. For Penrith, Jordan Vasquez fought valiantly with a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds, but the Panthers struggled mightily from distance, shooting just 21.4 percent on three-pointers compared to Albury's impressive 39.1 percent.
Manly Warringah 80 def Inner West 69 — Watch the Replay
Kimberley Hodge dominated with a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds as Manly Warringah secured an 80-69 victory against Inner West at Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre. Hodge was outstanding from the field, shooting 12-from-20 (60 percent), while Zoey Miller added 18 points on an efficient 7-from-11 shooting.
The Sea Eagles took control of the paint, outscoring Inner West 52-20 inside and maintaining a dominant rebounding advantage (54-36). Chieh Ou led the resistance for Inner West with 21 points, while Tylah Mundine recorded a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. The Falcons struggled to contain Manly's interior attack, allowing them to shoot 53.7 percent on two-point attempts.
Norths Bears 119 def Central Coast 35 — Watch the Replay
Emma Donnelly delivered a stellar 22-point performance as Norths Bears dismantled Central Coast 119-35 in a completely one-sided contest at North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre. Caitlyn Martin orchestrated the offence brilliantly with a double-double of 19 points and 10 assists, while Carla Pitman contributed 18 points.
The Bears were exceptional from long range, shooting 19-from-36 (52.8 percent) from beyond the arc compared to Central Coast's dismal 2-from-19 (10.5 percent). The Crusaders struggled mightily on offence, shooting just 18.1 percent from the field overall as Jasmine Forcadilla led them with just 10 points. Norths' ball movement was superior with 34 assists compared to Central Coast's 11.
Bankstown 78 def Canberra 63 — Watch the Replay
Jane Dunlop caught fire with 20 points including five three-pointers as Bankstown defeated Canberra 78-63 at Bankstown Basketball Stadium. Juliunn Redmond posted a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Kaila Proctor was exceptional with 13 points, five steals and a perfect 5-from-5 shooting on two-point attempts.
The Bruins took advantage of Canberra's 19 turnovers to score 10 points off mistakes while dominating the paint 42-26. Elise Finney led the Capitals with 15 points on 6-from-10 shooting, and Mikala Williams added 14 points. Abbie Ketels was outstanding on the glass for Canberra, pulling down 18 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome Bankstown's balanced attack.
Illawarra 90 def Sutherland 72 — Watch the Replay
Ella Dent recorded a superb double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds as Illawarra defeated Sutherland 90-72 at The Snakepit Stadium. Kiara Bell was dominant with 20 points, 15 rebounds and an impressive seven steals, while Tsubasa Nisbet added 16 points on efficient 7-from-13 shooting.
The Hawks controlled the tempo with 18 fast break points and outscored Sutherland 52-26 in the paint. Despite Madeleine Norris scoring 25 points for the Sharks and Lauren Nicholson adding 24 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, Sutherland couldn't match Illawarra's interior dominance. The Hawks shot a solid 46.8 percent from the field compared to Sutherland's 38.2 percent.
Newcastle 86 def Maitland 67 — Watch the Replay
Meg Jefferson powered Newcastle to an 86-67 victory against Maitland with 29 points on 13-from-22 shooting at Maitland Federation Centre. Nicole Munger recorded a rare triple-double with 14 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists, while Kate Kingham added eight points and six rebounds.
The Hunters dominated the glass with a 53-36 rebounding advantage and shot 50.7 percent from the field. Sydney Hunter led Maitland with 21 points and 14 rebounds, while Kasey Neubert contributed 18 points and 13 rebounds in a strong individual effort. Newcastle's second-chance points (19) and interior dominance (50-30 points in the paint) proved decisive in securing the win.
Sydney 79 def Hills 77 — Watch the Replay
Piper Anderson and Abigail Curtin each scored 26 points as Sydney edged Hills 79-77 in a thrilling contest at Comets Stadium. Anderson was lethal from deep, connecting on 6-from-12 three-pointers, while Curtin dominated inside with 9-from-17 shooting and added nine rebounds.
In a game featuring 17 lead changes, Sydney held the advantage for nearly 35 minutes but never led by more than 14 points. Kennedy Johnson paced the Hornets with 22 points and six rebounds, while Jade Kirisome added 21 points. Hills dominated the offensive glass (19-11) but couldn't overcome Sydney's superior shooting, as the Flames hit 36.8 percent from three-point range compared to Hills' 16 percent.
