Central Districts 87 def Norwood 76 — Watch the Replay
Central Districts secured an important 87-76 victory against Norwood at STARplex despite an exceptional 34-point performance from Amanda Paschal. The Lions were led by a balanced scoring attack with Claire-Maree Hunt and Sydneysimone Wright each tallying 18 points, while April Rummery Lamb added 17 points on an efficient 8-from-11 shooting.
Tiahna Sears registered a double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds for Central Districts, who shot a solid 46.1 percent from the field compared to Norwood's struggling 33.3 percent. The contest featured 15 lead changes, with the Lions ultimately pulling away behind their dominant 44-14 advantage in points in the paint. Despite Paschal's outstanding effort, which included 5-from-11 shooting from beyond the arc, Norwood couldn't overcome Central's balanced team performance.
North Adelaide 82 def Mavericks 48 — Watch the Replay
North Adelaide dominated the Mavericks 82-48 at St Francis de Sales Community Sports Centre, with Lauren Mansfield leading the way with 16 points including four three-pointers. Mollie McKendrick delivered a stellar double-double with 14 points, 14 rebounds and four assists as North Adelaide controlled the contest from start to finish.
The Rockets outclassed their opponents in every facet, shooting 43.1 percent from the field while holding the Mavericks to a dismal 22.7 percent. Bella Schaftenaar provided a lone bright spot for the Mavericks with 17 points, but North Adelaide's balanced attack featuring five players scoring eight or more points proved too much. The Rockets' defense was exceptional, forcing 14 turnovers and recording nine steals while building a lead that reached 38 points.
Forestville 83 def South Adelaide 68 — Watch the Replay
Forestville Eagles secured a comfortable 83-68 win against South Adelaide at State Basketball Centre, with Samantha Simons leading all scorers with 19 points. The Eagles showcased an explosive offense with Rachael King and Ella Sawyer each contributing 15 points in a well-rounded team performance.
Ella Sawyer was a defensive force with seven steals, helping Forestville force 21 turnovers which they converted into 12 points. Keira Gardiner led South Adelaide with 13 points on efficient 5-from-8 shooting along with seven rebounds, but the Panthers struggled to contain the Eagles' three-point shooting (45.5 percent). Despite South Adelaide's early six-point lead, Forestville pulled away with a 10-0 run and maintained control throughout the second half.
Woodville 76 def Southern Tigers 61 — Watch the Replay
Woodville claimed a solid 76-61 victory against Southern Tigers at Morphett Vale Basketball Stadium behind balanced scoring from their star trio. Jasmin Fejo and Laura Erikstrup each scored 17 points, with both recording impressive double-doubles as Fejo added 13 rebounds and five steals while Erikstrup grabbed 10 boards.
The Tigers were led by Iva Belosevic's outstanding 25-point, 14-rebound double-double, but lacked support as only McKenzie Johnston (13 points, 16 rebounds) reached double figures. Woodville's defensive pressure was the difference, forcing 27 turnovers which they converted into 14 points. Despite Southern's eight-point lead early, Woodville's 10-0 run shifted momentum in a game that featured 18 lead changes before the Warriors pulled away in the fourth quarter.
Sturt 69 def West Adelaide 65 — Watch the Replay
Sturt edged out West Adelaide 69-65 in a thrilling contest at Springbank Secondary College, with Sydney Mech leading the way with 18 points and seven rebounds. Nicola Mathews and Katia Stamatelopoulos added 17 points each, with Stamatelopoulos recording a double-double by adding 10 rebounds in the tightly contested battle.
West Adelaide's Olivia Levicki was exceptional in defeat, posting a dominant 23-point, 16-rebound double-double while shooting an efficient 9-from-16 from the field. The lead changed hands 23 times in this back-and-forth affair, with neither team leading by more than eight points. Sturt's advantage came from beyond the arc, where they connected on five three-pointers compared to West Adelaide's three, and from their bench which outscored West Adelaide's reserves 8-0.
